Lawson is a Tier 1 ERP Platform with Talent Management capabilities. They have been around since the 1970′s. Lawson recently acquired Enwisen a unique platform specializing in maximizing HR service delivery. Lawson’s Talent Management suite covers all functional areas with the exception of Workforce Planning.

Oracle is a Tier 1 ERP Platform with Talent Management capability. Probably one of two 800 pound gorilla’s in the space, between Oracle HR, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards customers, Oracle has quite a footprint. Oracle has TM modules for all functional disciplines with the exception of Workforce Planning.

SAP is aTier 1 ERP Platform with Talent Management capability. SAP is one of the two 800 pound gorillas in the industry with a very large footprint of ERP customers. There is always lot’s of internal pressure from IT to launch another module of SAP rather than bring in a new solution. SAP has full suite of modules that cover all functional disciplines of Talent Management.

Workday is a Tier 1 ERP Platform with Talent Management capability. Workday has been slowly gaining momentum and taking on the ERP category challenging the status quo of “installed behind the firewall” HRMS with a SaaS solution. It will be important to keep an eye on them as they are rapidly adding deep Talent Management capability and bridging the gap between the traditional ERP/HRMS and niche TM suite of modules. Workday has modules that cover all functional disciplines of Talent Management with the exception of Recruiting and Learning.
